The One About Beyond The Trip: Exploring Ethics in Psychedelics with the Journeymen

Krysta Francoeur Episode 42

Many of us are cut off from our ancestral roots - particularly those of us with European descent as much of our traditional wisdom was literally burned at the stake We are re-learning how to work with plant medicine here - kind of like toddlers with a new toy - but we also have our western culture ego’s that demand BIGGER experiences and MORE journeys, which I’m worried could get us into a bit of trouble.

For me directly...

Some of you listening to this episode may have been part of that journey as well with me - and I’m still SO grateful for that experience because it was beautiful on so many levels - especially meeting some incredible new people and sharing our experiences together at the time. And I also think it’s wise for us as a collective to examine both the light and “dark” experiences together so we can truly work with these potent medicines to bring about positive change in western society - but in a way that is grounded
